The battle, move by move
our hero slides the knight across the board, from G1 to H3. Zombie's rook reaches B1 and threatens our hero's king.
With a steady hand, our hero brings the king to D2, and right after that zombie's pawn advances from G3 to G2. our hero advances the knight from H3 to G5.
Zombie gives check with the rook on B2.
Without hurry or fear, our hero places the king on C1. From the dark, Zombie pushes the pawn to E6, and our hero's king takes D1, leaving C1 behind.
