The battle, move by move
With a steady hand, Ruben V. brings the bishop to E6, and geist's king advances from E8 to E7. Ruben V. advances the bishop from E6 to G8, while geist sets the king on E8, watching every square.
Without hurry or fear, Ruben V. places the pawn on G4. From the dark, Geist pushes the king to E7; then ruben V.'s pawn takes G5, leaving G4 behind.
Geist answers by moving the king from E7 to E8, and right after that ruben V. slides the pawn across the board, from G5 to G6. Stealth. Ruben V.'s trap leaves Geist confused.
With dungeon cunning, Geist brings the king to E7, while with a steady hand, Ruben V. brings the bishop to D5. Geist's king advances from E7 to E8, and ruben V. advances the pawn from G6 to G7.
Ruben V. activates Backstab and silently removes a threat from Geist.
